Kabelo Mogwe aka Kulenyane is back with a bang. He recently released a single titled ‘Khoemacau’, which has already gained popularity and bookings across the boarder.
After a while without releasing, Mogwe worked on the song with Khezo as a backing vocalist. Khoemacau is a special song dedicated to the Khoemacau mine in Toteng. It talks about love and the warm reception that Culture Spears team received while visiting the mine. Mogwe believes that where love prevails everything runs smoothly.
The talented musician wrote the song that was arranged, produced, mixed and recorded by Jazzman at Taboka Croft studio.
Marketing Manager at Culture Spears, Lentswe Mogwe says this just not an ordinary traditional music song, but more effort was placed in releasing the song, as they infused live guitars to give it an oomph.
He shared that for some time they have not had any international gig but after the release of Khoemacau, they already have bookings across boarder. He stated that they have inquiries for radio interviews from Northern Cape, Mpumalanga, North West Limpopo, Gauteng Province and Free Estate. Lentswe further said that locally, the song has been well received and they are taking bookings.*
