Voguish Beauty Bar, one of the best makeup Studio around has finally introduced their first ever ultimate masterclass.

Founder and Director at Voguish Beauty Bar, Kagiso Mokgware is of the view that Makeup is not just an art of beautify one’s face, but goes beyond skin care. She told Vibe that there is more to applying makeup, but issues like customer service, and branding are critical. Her observation is that very often, people struggle with choosing the correct foundation and powder shades for different skin tones when applying makeup. This she said needs particular understanding of skin undertones and colorimetry, and so she would be teaching on this topic, as well as different eyeshadow techniques.

Mokgware also emphasized that there is a difference between day makeup and evening makeup, and so she would also be demonstrating the difference to her students. Her masterclass is made up of several topics, which she believes are important in the world of beauty. Her topics include; live demos, day and bridal makeup, importance and application of skin prep on different skin types, understanding undertones, foundation selection and match, makeup application, eyeshadow technique, lighting setup, photos and video taking, insight of the beauty industry and an intensive practical class plus mentorship program.

Participants would walk away with certificates and Voguish goody bags and have refreshments during their classes. The class is currently open for only a limited number of people and the early bird tickets will be available until end on December. The initial class starts on 23th and 25th February 2024. This class is designed to cater for everyone including beginners, aspiring and advancing makeup artists. Mokgware said that the art of beauty is vastly growing in Botswana and all they are aimed at, as beauticians is to deliver a work of international standard. On her end, she has already attracted renowned creatives from South Africa including, Pearl Thusi, Boity Thulo among others. She confidently said that this is a good start for her and she is looking forward to shaping the industry in a remarkable way through her masterclass lessons.
