Multiple award- winning DJ Zinhle is scheduled to headline the Sunday Social event this Sunday at Game City Horizon View, alongside local acts.

The highly anticipated event will be the first time that the Umlilo artist performs in Botswana this year. Revelers are looking forward to seeing the disc jockey dishing out her latest material on the decks and also taking them down memory lane with her yesteryear hits such as My name is Indlovu and Colors.

“As a way of celebrating women’s month and all the ladies in our beautiful country, we decided to invite DJ Zinhle to headline this event and have other queens such as Miss Gee Kays, Gabs Diva and Lerato Modiega to support her on stage. DJ Zinhle has also promised that she has prepared a special set for her Botswana audience which she will showcase this coming Sunday, she is looking forward to creating memories. This is also her last performance in Africa before she departs to the USA for a tour. It will be a fun- filled event that will with several activities taking place. Our goal is to create a fun- filled experience for patrons,” said Sunday Social Coordinator, DJ Bakito.

The event coordinator further stated that they selected DJ Zinhle to be the event headliner because she is an inspirational woman who is also a good role model. “She rocks the decks and at the same time, she is a strategic businesswoman, we are hoping that she will inspire a number of women locally.”

Sunday Social will also be headlined by local seasoned disc jockeys such as DJ Fauz, DJ Kuchi, Macx Wa Bana, Casper the DJ and Khebah. The event is expected to start around lunch till midnight.

“We looking forward to hosting revelers from different parts of the country this Sunday at the event, there will be heavy surveillance and

security within the venue and outside to ensure that all attendants are safe and protected. This is also a stern warning to anyone that will attend the event with any criminal intentions, we are working closely with law enforcers, and anyone who is caught on the wrong side of the law will be dealt with,” said DJ Bakito.

Event tickets are already available in different places such as Web tickets, Kana Kgang, and various Spar outlets in Gaborone, Mochudi, Palapye and Francistown.
