Despite playing a pivotal role at TS Galaxy, leading the scoring charts in the CAF Confederations Cup, he returned to Jwaneng Galaxy before ultimately moving to Orapa United.

Should the deal be confirmed, Mahachi will be joining Galaxy for the third time in his career, having initially arrived at the mining town from Sankoyo mid-way through the season of 2016/2017.
