Bank Gaborone has appointed Lesego Bannalotlhe and Dixon- Warren as non- executive directors. According to the bank, which is a unit of Capricorn Holdings, ‘ Dixon- Warren brings with him almost three decades of experience in the professional services industry, with a successful career spanning Financial Management, Human Resources, Client Delivery, Audit and Risk, and Stakeholder Engagement’

Warren began his career at KPMG in Botswana, where he spent twenty years and rose to Partner and Senior Partner levels, successfully managing various operational and management roles. Nigel has also been involved in several organisations in Botswana, including serving as President and Council Member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants ( BICA), Director and Chair of Air Botswana, and Director and ViceChair of Botswana Accountancy College.

He current ly serves as an Independent Non- Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee for Prime Time Property Holdings Limited, and has fiduciary appointments as an Independent Liquidator, Independent Trustee for two different trusts, and Executive Director and 34% shareholder at Desert Secretarial Services ( Pty) Ltd trading as DSS, a BICA Non- Audit member firm.

On the other side, Bannalotlhe brings with her over two decades of experience in the professional services industry, a successful career spanning Risk & Compliance Management, Leadership, Development & Execution of Strategy, Policy formulation, Change Management, Corporate Governance, Transformation & Culture, Business Intelligence, Project Management, Business Strategy Development and Implementation, People Management, Performance Management, and Coaching others for success.

She has worked as Chief Risk Officer at First National Bank Botswana. Bannalotlhe is also the founding chairperson of Botswana Risk Managers Association and the founder of Turnquay Projects, which focuses on steering organisations towards sustainable futures by adopting sound, ethical, risk and compliance, governance, and financial management policies.
