Two local companies, Yamikani Foods and Topmarket Capital will launch their partnership on August 22 in Gaborone. “Yamikani Foods is a wholesale and retailer that is locally owned. The company aims to supply schools, restaurants, hospitals, hawkers, and supermarkets with local fresh produce, which gives unbeatable leverage to meet Batswana halfway in terms of our pricing strategy,” a press statement from the two companies reads. It further states: “Topmarket Capital is a Botswana-based finance company, which is focused on assisting SMEs through funding mainly on Purchase Order Financing, Invoice Discounting, Contract Finance, and Bridge Property. “The event intends to highlight and or signal the start of a cordial relationship between the two companies with the singular intention of easing the way of doing business (especially trade) amongst SMEs.”
