Consumers are being warned about certain pastas, flour and mealie meal marketed and sold by some individuals and hawkers via social media. In a warning alert, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said the products were not labeled in accordance with the labeling of Pre-packaged Foods regulation including manufacturer, contents and expiry date amongst others. The Health Ministry said it was collaborating with other authorities to investigate so that appropriate action is taken against the perpetrators. It further urged the public to only buy food products from reliable sources.
