We began as a building society and today, we are co-creating a new future with you. On 24th August 2017, we approached you and made an audacious proposition – to share hold our vision and together build Botswana’s first homegrown bank. 99.96% of you said “yes” and through your support, patience and belief, we have entered a new chapter in our organisation’s 53 year history. A chapter where you are not just our customer but a shareholder of the BBS Bank.

Our new journey has already begun with the introduction of a Visa Card that allows you to move faster and step ahead. We are upgrading our digital offering, designed with Batswana in mind. In addition to the current ATM and branch network, our product suite is expanding to include agency, transactional, business and investment banking and a transformed customer experience. This is just the beginning.

Today we are BBS Bank. Yes, today we have our own bank built by our people, employing their talents and a commitment to serving the nation.
