MOLEPOLOLE: Holy Ghost’s head coach, Rapelang ‘Raizor’ Tsatsilebe is a worried man following his side’s poor start to the season. Holy Ghost are chasing their first elite league win as they sit at the bottom of the log standings.

On Friday afternoon, Holy Ghost recorded their fourth defeat of the season as they lost 2-0 to Prisons XI in a Botswana Premier League game played at the Molepolole Sports Complex.

“It is getting tough every game. There is still time if you look at the players we are using. It is unfortunate that experience is lacking.

“But maybe God will answer and when they keep on playing, they will get something and use that experience in the next coming games. We do not have the players that can finish up the chances we create. If you look at other teams, they convert from half chances and we need strikers that can convert the chances that we create,” Tsatsilebe said.

Playing at home, Holy Ghost conceded just seconds into the game as Tumo Keiketlile opened the scores for Prisons. The Warders took charge of the game from the goal and on the 22nd minute Karabo Setoutwe beat his marker on the wing and aimed for the far corner but the goalkeeper parried the attempt back into play for the defence to clear.

Three minutes later, Kenosi Semako headed just wide off the post with Holy Ghost first chance in the game. Prisons had injury blow as Tshwanelo Mojanaga limped off and was replaced by Taelo Nthoiwa on the 33rd minute. The Warders took a 1-0 lead into the break.

Ten minutes into the second half, Setoutwe doubled Prisons’ lead with a brilliantly taken shot from just outside the box. Two minutes later, Alphious Kgopa made a long range attempt but the goalkeeper tipped the ball over the bar.

Just after the hour mark, Mokunye Shakambayo set up Tumo Keiketlile but the latter shot wide off the post. Keiketlile once again had his shot saved by the goalkeeper on the 75th minute from inside the box.

Substitute, Kelello Kgosimore was on the end of long ball from the back. He tried to round the keeper but was let down by poor finishing on the 80th minute.

Six minutes to full time, Kgosimore set up Ketshabile Monthe but the skipper’s header was off the post. On the brink of full time, Kgopa had two chances for Holy Ghost.
