A 100% Citizen Owned Company is looking for an ambitious and self-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its team. The COO is a crucial member of the senior management team and reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In this role, we need a senior leader with excellent communication skills, business acumen and outstanding work ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

While the position is primarily responsible for overseeing the support functions of the company and the effective implementation of operational, administrative and financial policies and procedures across the organization, he/she would act as the trusted partner and advisor to the CEO and ensure that the support and business functions are completely aligned.

Experience and Qualifications:

We require a leader with a collaborative management style with a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in a support function with a reputable corporate, financial or public sector institution including 5 years in a senior management role of managing support function.

The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver in a deadline driven environment. Applicants must possess a Master degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from a recognized university. Engineering graduate will be given preference.

Any other relevant qualification will be an added advantage.
