Organic Naturals takes bite of skincare pie

Larona Makhaiza Correspondent

Skincare is one big pie that Organic Natural Skincare, a local manufacturer of skin products, is taking a bite of. The product range includes cures for pigmentation, acne, burns or any skin-related problems, which are dermatologically tested and can be used by both females and males.

Under their brand, the products address skin problems with cleanser bar soaps, body oils, sunscreen, serum and a mask that helps with exfoliation.

Owned by Didintle Moreki, Organic Naturals Skincare celebrates nature’s ingredients as they craft their formulations. Organic Naturals Skincare’s sales agent, Omphile Itomeng, told BusinessMonitor that they use indigenous plants for their products as they believe they are good for the skin. They use extracts from plants such as mowana, morula and moringa.

“We really care about the skin. When you come to purchase our products, we normally test your skin to see your type. This makes it easier for us to recommend the products that will suit you well.

“Firstly, we do a pre-skin assessment, then recommend the product that best suits the condition one has,” she said.

For a company that just opened its doors, Organic Naturals SkinCare is doing well as they have managed to penetrate the local retail market securing shelve space in major store brands like Choppies and pharmacies which have footprints across the country.

Further, she noted that they have started exporting their products to the regional market, a move she believes will make their brand grow further. “We are really doing well in the business area as we do even export internationally to countries like South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and recently Lesotho. Our products can also be purchased from Takealot,” she added.

Meanwhile, Organic Naturals Skincare will embark on a journey to host an eye-opening event on December 11 aimed at offering people teachings on skincare.

The one-day event dubbed ‘Summer Glow’ is mostly curated around women as they will be sensitised on ways of taking good care of their skin so that they stay radiant and have a glow in the summer.

“I am hoping to have a wholesome smooth event. We aim to see women satisfied with the knowledge gathered from the event.

“Also, having her loving their skin more and having overall knowledge on how she can show up in her truest self,” she said.
