The Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa (TRAPCA) nominated Botswana as one of the beneficiaries for the Executive Tailor-Made training on AfCFTA Trade in Services and Intellectual Property Rights negotiations. The training aims to build the applied and practical skills of the stakeholders involved in AfCFTA negotiations and implementation issues. It also provides a thorough understanding of key concepts in Trade Services and Intellectual Property Rights, in particular those arising from the relevant AfCFTA Protocols and their potential impact on Botswana. This will enable Botswana to effectively negotiate and implement the AfCFTA Agreement. The training is attended by among others the private sector, business associations, and government institutions.
