The hackathon allowed work groups to unpack barriers to domestic and foreign investment promotion, attraction and retention. This will ensure that

the revised NIS for Botswana becomes a strategic enabler for the country’s sustainable development aspirations as espoused in Vision 2036, ensuring prosperity for all and leaving no one behind. The participants made several observations on the existing draft revised NIS. Particular focus was placed on the vision and mission, the proposed vision realisation programmes, implementation, and performance monitoring and cross-cutting issues.
