While narrowly missing out on automatic promotion to the Botswana Football League (BPL), VTM’s indomitable spirit was tested in the first leg of the playoffs, succumbing to a 1-0 defeat against Chadibe FC in their own territory. Undeterred, they rallied in the second leg, salvaging a remarkable 2-1 victory to force the match into an electrifying penalty shootout.
Raising the stakes even higher this season, VTM FC bolstered their ranks by acquiring former Orlando Pirates winger, Sifiso Myeni, and defensive stalwart Rooi Mahamutsa.
