Botala Energy has been granted a Special Economic Zone Licence by Botswana’s Special Economic Zone Authority. “This significant milestone sets the stage moving forward for our collaboration with Solar Finland in the manufacture of solar PV Panels. Together, we aim to bring sustainable energy solutions to life for Botswana and Sub-Sahara Africa,” said the company.

Through a prefeasibility study, the company has discovered immense value through the Solar Finland partnership. The manufacture of solar PV panels is planned at the Leupane Energy Hub and Industrial Park.
