This has been the picture of the week – for somewhat sad reasons. Following the announcement of the passing of President Mogweetsi Masisi’s mother, tributes that poured on social media were written along the picture. It shows the mother of the President with his son and daughter in law, Neo Masisi – the First Lady.

It’s a picture that also trended a lot after Masisi became the country’s president some few years back. Precious Masego Masisi, the wife to the late former minister and first Moshupa MP, Edison Setlhomo Masisi, died last week aged 95. Those close to the family say Mma Tshelang, as she was popularly known, had not been well for some time, and finally bowed out on Friday night. Condolences to the family, and may her precious soul rest in peace.
