CPS FACELIFT IN PROGRESS

The face lifting of the Gaborone Central Police Station popularly known as CPS is progressing well with the contractor currently at 18 percent instead of 10 percent as scheduled. The P35 million facelift started in March 2023 and is expected to be completed next year in September 2024. A total of 68 locals have been employed out of which 80 percent are youth. Central Police Station was built in 1964 and the face-lifting is being done to align it with contemporary policing standards.
