ROYALLE PROMISES FIREWORKS!

At the Inaugural Annual Botswana Women Sports Awards

BY IRENE SHONE

Pearl Benifield aka RoyAlle will perform at the Inaugural Annual Botswana Women Spots Awards next weekend on 25th March.

This is one of the best achievements for the newbie. She told Vibe that the recent Department of Broadcasting Services boot camp meant a lot to her as she got to learn a lot about crafting her art as a musician. To her, being recognized to perform at a corporate event only affirms her desires. The awarding ceremony will be held at Lekidi Football Centre, and it is about recognizing and awarding women in sports, in their different faculties from women in action to even those behind the scenes. RoyAlle is already rehearsing for the occasion and going to present nothing below excellence at the event. She will be performing her favorite song, Africa which she has also already performed at one of her invitations at Botswana Television studios. “I’m going to be performing my most favoured song, AfriKa and the audience should expect nothing but a performance that marks history in the making,” she said. The cheerful RoyAlle couldn’t hide the excitement on her face regarding this opportunity. “This opportunity really means the most to me. That means my efforts, hardwork and prayers are finally paying off and it’s not just self praise when I say I’m talented, being called for this event has proved it as well,” she said.

RoyAlle officially joined the industry sometime in December 2022 but has already recorded a couple of songs. She further told vibe that she is presently working on her other brand new single. She is hopeful to work on her solo first video soon after the group video she did with the ‘Motshitshi crew’ under the DBS boot camp event.
