When days are dark, supporters are few

Extension Gunners supporters are showing no loyalty to the club now that the club looks destined to ply trade in the national first division next season. Not even the roping in of Thabo Motang as their Head Coach looks like it could save them from the proverbial axe they have flirted with over the past years.

The writing now seems to be on the wall, but what has been even more worrying is the sudden lack of interest in the club by its supporters. Over the weekend in Francistown, the players were on their own and perhaps a few numbers could have helped them avoid the narrow 0-1 loss to Eleven Angels.

This is a club that used to fill up stadiums, but of course those were the good days. Now that times are hard, the so-called supporters are beginning to show their true colours. The only way back for them is if Gunners start winning again. Shame on you Gunners supporters – you are just some useless fair weather friends!
