Bogosi bo a ilelwa – Balete tell hospitalised MP Moagi

The running conversation in Gamalete over the past week, especially in Ramotswa, is that their Member of Parliament is unwell and should blame his ill-health status on Bogosi’s unhappiness with him for the manner in which he handled the tribe’s land dispute with government. Magatwe in the village have been suggesting that MP Lefoko Moagi is hospitalised and has not been well for some time.

The villagers have been taking to facebook to say

Bogosi are not happy with him and that for him to get well soon he must come out to apologise to Kgosi Mosadi Seboko after he reportedly sided with government’s stance on the land dispute. Although the MP is reported to have said that as a cabinet minister he has to side with the government, many have described that as disrespect for a tribe that made him. Magatwe a re confirmation of the MP’s state of health was even made at his church this past Sunday, where the congregation was asked to put the MP in their prayers. It is not clear what his ailment is but his voters are convinced his state of health is a result of differing with Bogosi. Some wrote on facebook that Bogosi bo a ilelwa and that things can get even worse for the MP should Balete go on to lose their land case in which the land board is appealing the High Court judgement that gave Balete their land. We at the Magatwe Crew take heed of the church’s request to keep him in prayers and wish the MP some speedy recovery.
