The past week has been dominated by the picture of the army man who allegedly shot his purported girlfriend dead while on a peace-keeping mission in Mozambique. Both were serving in the Botswana Defence Force. Reports said the man, identified as Major Tshwenyego, gunned down a young army woman in what is suspected to have been a relationship dispute. Magatwe a re the man is a 1972-born while the young lady was born in 1997. Back home, we hear, they left their partners in shock. Gatwe the boyfriend to the girl had organized a send-off party for her in a happy atmosphere while the man had allegedly left behind a pregnant wife. Social media has been awash with their pictures with several theories being shared as to what could have caused the conflict that led to their untimely deaths. May their souls rest in peace.
