Batswana experience Shiloh in Nigeria

BY KEIKANTSE LESEMELA

Some Batswana have landed in Lagos, Nigeria to attend the annual Shiloh gathering hosted by Living Faith Church Worldwide.

Shiloh is a prophetic gathering of believers which was first instituted in 1998 through God’s servant, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Winners Chapel International Church, Bishop David Oyedepo.

The event is broadcast in a special Winners Chapel television channel and social media platforms. However, most people prefer to attend physically at Canaanland, Nigeria.

Every first week of December, Winners’ Chapel members travel from about 52 nations where the church has branches to attend the Shiloh gathering and many of them return with testimonies.

Speaking to The Midweek Sun, some Batswana delegates who are already in Nigeria said they have come with high expectations for spiritual empowerment from the holy ground of Shiloh. Goabaone Mokokwane said she is not a member of Winners Chapel Church but she started attending Shiloh for the first time last year and immediately got her testimony after waiting for eight years.

“I am a member of Kingdom Embassy but I got a revelation to attend Shiloh at Canaanland and I did. Immediately when I got back home I was informed that my request for transfer which had been rejected for eight years was approved. But it was not my prayer point when I came here.”She said the gathering is a mountain of encounter where God settles issues of his people. “I am here again in this Shiloh 2022 and I will never miss it. It is my

annual pilgrimage from now onwards. “

Grace Segadimo, a member of Winners Chapel International Church in Gaborone said ever since she started coming to Shiloh in 2008, she has never missed the event because she has experienced the blessings from her first encounter in the place.

“I have been coming to Shiloh for the past 14 years.”

This year’s Shiloh, themed ‘Covenant Highways’ features several faith boosting subjects which will be unpacked by different preachers including Bishop Oyedepo, Bishop David Abioye, Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr, Bishop Thomas Aremu and Faith Oyedepo and other preachers.
