The Debswana Information Management Function hosted a joint Cyber security workshop with Anglo American, DTC Botswana and DebMarine Namibia at Mokolodi Game Reserve. The objectives of the workshop were to share the respective partners’ cybersecurity strategies, to assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls within their environments and identify improvement areas and collaboration opportunities. Recently, Debswana formulated a three-year cybersecurity strategy and roadmap to enable the company to respond to existing and emerging cyber threats and it is expected that the successful implementation of the roadmap will enable it to be more cyber resilient.
