Gospel sensation, Kabo Thaelo will once again lock horns with South Africa (SA)’s Gospel music heavy weights to bring a great sensation to the industry’s revellers.

This comes after his great performance at Mokopane in SA where it is said he left supporters asking for more. The Francistownbased gospel singer said he will perform at Mpho Thosago’s live recording at The State Theatre in Pretoria on March 25, 2023.

He further explained that The State Theatre has been a great host of very successful events in the past years including the live recording of Spirit of Praise albums that had great sales. He added that it had also been a great host of various key corporate events that had thousands fill the venue to capacity.

Thaelo said he will be accompanied by another talented local gospel musician, Gaolathe Kambo. The duo would perform alongside South Africa’s well known Gospel music giants in the likes of Sipho Makhabane, Solly Moholo, Mpho Thosago, Tebogo Motaung and others. Furthermore, he promised the best performance that would represent the Botswana Gospel music industry at large. He said revellers should look out for ‘Jehofa O Lefika Laka’ as one of the songs he would perform during the event. The song carries a consoling message to listeners who might be faced with life’s challenges that God is with them throughout every challenge. Another one is ‘Bakereste Ke Tla Roma Mang’, which he said he believes that amongst the millions, he was chosen to change lives through music.

On other matters, Thaelo said he has a busy schedule this year, with performances lined up locally. “After my performance in South Africa, I will also perform in Ratholo (Mmachibaba CJSS) on April 8 and July1, 2023. I will also perform at Majwaneng during an event called Batswapong Meat Festival on July 15, 2023, then Palapye on April 29, 2023 in a bid to fight against Gender Based Violence, which has been rampant in Botswana. Moreover, I am looking forward to Batswana’s lovely support,” he said.
