All three investigators allocated the corruption investigation case on the DIS DG, Peter Magosi, have been effectively transferred from their stations.This strategic move by the DIS has attracted the wrath of some pundits who view the move as nothing but a ‘Big Brother’ mentality by the DIS and its continued efforts to seemingly destabilise the graft-busting organ, DCEC and effectively control the anti-corruption department.

The three DCEC investigators, Andria German, who was a senior Assistant Director, has been transferred to the Attorney General’s Chambers (AG); Sethunya Rathedi-Motswetla, who was an anti-corruption officer, has been transferred from her position to a different government department and Tsholofelo Bareetsi, who was a principal anti-corruption officer, has been suspended together with the DCEC DG, Tymon Katlholo.
